Fr. Jim has an exciting announcement! After a long hiatus due to Covid, our parish is returning to 24/7 Adoration! God thirsts for us to visit Him in Adoration and now it will be available anytime (except for Mass times).
If you've never been to Adoration at COSP before, that's ok! Father walks you through the "how to's" in the video below. If you still have questions, don't hesitate to email us. The important thing is to stop by and give it a try. God waits for you.
Every holy hour we make so pleases the Heart of Jesus that it will be recorded in Heaven and retold for all eternity. It opens up the floodgates of God’s merciful Love upon the world. Nowhere on earth are we more welcomed or loved than by Jesus in Eucharist. When you look at the crucifix, you understand how much Jesus loved you. When you look at the Sacred Host you understand how much Jesus loves you now. This is why we need Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration in every Parish throughout the entire World. -- St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta
Adoration at the Church of Saint Paul
Every precaution is made to ensure a safe environment in Adoration which is why Adoration is held in the large Daily Mass Chapel rather than the small Adoration Chapel. Park in the space near the Grotto on the north side of the Church.
• Enter through the Adoration door (north east entrance)
• Sanitize your hands, then sign in electronically (using the sign-in iPad)
• Use the door to the right (through the Confession room) to enter the Daily Mass Chapel
• Bring your own books, bibles or rosaries
• Wear a mask (required)
• If needed, use the bathroom by the Adoration Chapel only
• Sanitize your area before you leave using the supplies in the back of the Chapel.
If you aren’t feeling well, or know you were exposed to Covid in the last two weeks, please request a sub through our scheduling system (VSP).
The Adoration Chapel will be open for anyone to stop by spontaneously or for regular short visits. For security reasons, a code will be required to open the door between 9:30 p.m. and 6 a.m. (Contact the parish office for more info.)
If you'd like, you may commit to a specific hour for each week as an Adorer. Commitment is what transforms a promise into reality.
Your commitment of one Holy Hour per week fulfills not only your own longing to come closer to the Lord, but draws others to Him. Many graces flow through COSP and the surrounding community by your commitment to adore Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and make our church a continual House of Prayer.
