WINTER STUDY
Starts January 10
Two choices:
The Book of Hebrews from Ascension Press
by Andrew Swafford and Jeff Cavins
Hebrews: The New and Eternal Covenant
This study draws out the riches of this sublime book in a way that makes them easier to understand. It draws connections between the Old and New Testaments, the Liturgy, the Eucharist, the priesthood, and so much more. Most importantly, Hebrews will help Catholics appreciate the astounding generosity of God as they see the wonders he has given us in the Church.
The Hebrew study will be offered onsite, but small group home-based groups are possible.
Cost: $30 each (includes Study Guide)
The Book of Isaiah from Tan Books
St. Jerome likened the book of Isaiah as the gospel of the Old Testament because Isaiah prophesied more about the Messiah than any other book in the Old Testament. He also described in great detail the blessings of the future kingdom of the Messiah. His coming would be as a lion bringing the day of God's wrath, but first He would come as a Savior who would die for the sins of the people. Isaiah focuses on the salvation that will come through the Messiah.
If you participated in the Isaiah study previously and have the Study Guide, cost is $5
Anyone can join Isaiah Book 3. Cost is $45, which includes the Study Guide.
