As Catholic Christians, what are we about? Better said, who are we about? We are about Jesus. We are about following Him...because we know that following Him will help us live a blessed life here on earth and ultimately lead us to eternal life with Him in heaven.
We all want not only to encounter Jesus, but to be in communion, in intimacy, with Him. This is the deepest desire of our hearts: to be in intimacy with Jesus Christ. Our hearts are burning within us for that. As such, this is the goal of all of our formation and catechesis at the parish. Saint Pope John Paul II taught us: "the definitive aim of catechesis is to put people not only in touch, but in communion, in intimacy, with Jesus Christ."

Go, therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold I am with you always, until the end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20
