Marriage Preparation

Register online (see below) for the Marriage Preparation program as soon as possible after your engagement is announced.  After completing the form,  our marriage prep coordinators will contact you to confirm your wedding date and give you details about the marriage prep process.

The Church of Saint Paul will provide materials and a mentor couple to assist you in your journey toward the Sacrament of Marriage. The minimum preparation period is six months.

Alec and I knew each other for 8 years before getting married and we can truly say we learned not only about each other but the skills needed for a healthy and loving marriage from our sponsor couple, Jackie and Bob. Our discussions on marriage were honest, thoughtful, and God-focused. Alec and I have referenced the time and skills we learned in marriage preparation often during this first year. It is amazing how much we learned about one another but more importantly, what we learned about the Lord when going through Marriage Prep at the Church of Saint Paul. Jason and Debbie (our sponsor couple) were so personable and inviting. They asked us questions and brought up topics for discussion that really helped us prepare for our marriage in ways we never would have been able to on our own.
