Mona Allen

I am a wife (married to Glen Allen 45 years), mother (2 sons and 1 daughter and spouses) and Nana (9 grands, 6 boys, 3 girls) and have a 1 year old chocolate lab. I also enjoy quilting and crocheting.  I had a professional career as an Occupational Therapist.

We became members of the The Church of Saint Paul a second time about 7 years ago when we moved back to the area.

I am a graduate of the Harry J. Flynn Catechetical Institute, Class of St. Francis as well as a graduate of The Cenacle of Our Lady of Divine Providence School of Spiritual Direction, Houston Campus.  I received my 
spiritual direction certification from Franciscan University, Steubenville in June 2020.

It was through Spiritual Direction that I was able to enter into a deeper relationship with the Lord and receive the profound love and healing of God in my life. Spiritual Direction helped me come to a better understanding of my identity as a chosen, beloved daughter.  I am still very much a work in progress, but I know the Holy Spirit continues to do wonderful things for those who seek Him. 

It has been my privilege to journey with souls over these last two years and be able to witness their transformation through the power of the Holy Spirit in Spiritual Direction.
