Our founding pastor, Father Tim Nolan (1939 - 2021), loved being a priest and had a heart for vocations. He encouraged vocations through his witness and through his prayer.
Before Fr. Tim retired in 2004, he established an Endowment Fund to support future vocations. The Fr. Tim Nolan Vocations Endowment fund offers financial support for COSP parishioners and immediate family members pursuing vocations to the priesthood or consecrated religious life. Men and women who have been admitted to formation programs for the priesthood in a college or graduate-level seminary or in a Catholic institute of vowed religious life are eligible to apply annually for a grant by completing the form below.
Father Mike Selenski, who grew up at the Church of Saint Paul, said, “I realized how rare Fr. Nolan was as a priest, seeing the impact that he had on hundreds, if not thousands, of people was really moving for me. And my prayer was really just like, ‘Lord, I hope someday to be a positive example and role model of a priest for other people in the future.’ ” Through this Fund, Fr. Tim's legacy continues.
